our delicious turkey The Irias' hosted this year again... I think we've decided that it's going to be an annual Thanksgiving Celebration at their house! Since we don't have any family near us, we've decided to celebrate this holiday with our friends...and they've really have become our extended family. Conni cooked an awesome and juicy turkey this year with the help of Katherine...her turkey was yummy last year so we thought we'd keep it the way it was made last year except it's a bigger turkey this year so we would have plenty of left overs to take home! the rest of us were responsible of bringing side dishes, appetizer/snack & deserts. Since I'm not really much of a cook, we provided Green Bean Casserole (Steve's fav), rolls & deserts (both courtesy of Sam's Club). The Siemen's joined us this year so it was us, The Reppe's and The Irias. I think we did it better this year...our food seems to be better & we had more options. Next year, I think will even be much better!!! We have a lot to be thankful for...Steve still has a job, we're all healthy, we still have a roof over our head, family, friends & our troops.
