Gifted Tree and silly Buggy
Last week, I let the girls finally play with the neighbor kids. They have been wanting to so badly but we never were home or we always had homework. So last thursday, I decided they could play with the little kids. In the midst of them riding their bikes around, Chloe chimes in the conversation with these 2 Mom's that were discussing about Christmas decorations. She tells them how her mommy doesn't have any because her mommy doesn't have any money. I was mortified but I honestly couldn't fault her - she was just talking and letting them know how it is. Telling them how her Daddy has the Christmas tree and Mommy doesn't. Anyways, later than night, Morgan, our next door neighbor, she brought us her extra Christmas tree (she had her husband Rudy carry it) and she was carrying some decorations for us to have. It was really thoughtful and I was in awe and got a bit teary eyed.
So today, the girls and I decorated our gifted tree. Chloe was dancing around with her socks on and slipped. I've warned her a few times to be careful. So for the 3rd time, I told her firmly that she truly needed to be careful because she was going to hurt herself. She responded with "Ok, mama, I'm sorry." Callie chimes in the background, "I not ur Mama, I Buggy" So I turned around and give her a look. She responds with, "What? Why u looking at me like that?" Me: "I don't know, Buggy? Why do you think?" Callie: "Ummmmm... (pauses) cuz' u love me?" I laugh and she says with a laugh, "Try again, Baby?"
I sure do have the silliest girls...I love the things that comes into their mind.
