Chloe's 2 year old class had a little Christmas Concert. The kids were going to sing a couple songs to us, parents. They've been practicing their song since the beginning of December. Chloe would come home singing "Jingle Bells"! Well, today was the day - all the kids were dressed to the nine's -looking super cute! Their teacher, Ms. Joanne, led them to their song...and most of the kids were pretty occupied! Needless to say, we pretty much could only hear Ms. Joann sing. Chloe was being her normal self...decided that she wasn't going to participate. Got her hands crossed her chest & stood in the circle the whole time. Steve came to hear Chloe sing since she's been singing the darn song for the last 2 weeks...both he & I just giggled to ourselves. What can you do? You can't force her to sing...she definitely does not like being on the spotlight! After the concert, she decorated a couple of sugar cookies w/ her Daddy...she loves to paint. She could stay doing that for hours. Just give her a few colors & a brush & she'll paint and paint until the poor object cannot take it anymore! She also loves to play with playdoh & puzzles - especially foam puzzles. She like connecting them together & seeing what she can make out of it.
Well, we will be leaving for Sun Valley in a couple of days. We'll be visiting my Mom. I'm very excited to see my sisters and the new house...and of course my Mom! My only concern right now is Callie. She isn't feeling so great- she seem to have caught a very bad cold. She sound very congested. She's been sleeping throughout the day. She isn't in her happy go lucky state. She just wants to be cuddled. I am hoping she'll get better by the time we leave...crossing my fingers.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!
