Okay, I'm trying to figure out if I should shot down our other web-site (babysites) & just upkeep this one...this one is FREE and the other one I have to pay $20/year to upkeep & upgrade storage. There's pro's & con's about both web-sites so I'm still debating. I'll have to figure it out some time soon since I'll be occupied for the next 4 months or so when Callie arrives. Having to juggle 2 kids is going to be a transition for all of us but I'm sure we'll managed. Anywho, it’s been a while since I’ve updated our babysite web-site. I actually started on it a couple of weeks ago and was almost done but my darn computer froze up & didn’t give me a chance to save the whole thing...so it got lost. I was erked that I didn’t save it & have been too annoyed to start all over again...I guess, today is as good as any other day.

My Mommie Group threw me a baby shower for Callie!!! It was so nice of Conni to host it & for everyone to help me celebrate my 1st ever baby shower. This truly felt like a real baby shower and blessed to have found this group! Thank you to everyone for being so kind & accepting of me & my family. I am forever grateful & humbled for everyone’s kindness & friendship. Chloe & I are blessed to have found this group!

A few of my Mommy friends of mine got to go to NO DOUBT concert...it was such a blast! I was adamant to be at that concert...being pregnant with contractions or not. It’s been forever since I’ve seen them...I think 10 years ago! Of course, they were great! I enjoyed it myself...it was fun to share it with a few of my girlfriends!
Memorial Day Weekend (May 22nd - 25th)
Chloe has been showing interest in being potty trained for quite some time. I am just not ready to deal with that...especially since she hasn’t weaned from drinking milk in a bottle. I’ve also been told that if I potty train her now, there’s a chance that she’ll regressed back to her old ways & will have LOTS of accidents. Since I know I am not ready to face that battle. I’ve decided that Chloe needs to really wean off from drinking her milk in a bottle first...I asked Steve to be on board on this idea. So on Friday, I asked Steve to get her milk ready for her in a sippy cup that we got for her... mind you the sippy cup looked like a bottle. It’s a Nuby brand but the sport style...whatever! It looks like this...

May 28th - June 2nd
Debbie arrived from Washington. Whenever she needs some sunshine, she likes to come to Arizona. My mom was also arriving on this date but is heading to Tucson w/ her friend Eva (from Maui) - they wanted to check out what Tucson is all about. We went to meet up w/ them on Saturday at JW Marriott, which is where they were staying. We got to hang out at the pool & just enjoyed the weekend with them. On Monday Debbie was going back home & Tuesday, my mom dropped Eva off at the airport & stayed w/ us for 2 days before she went back to Sun Valley. It was nice having them around - we always enjoy good company. Chloe from time to time would call out for Debbie thinking that Debbie is still around...then she’ll correct herself and tells me, "Mommie, Debbie wooking (working)." It’s the cutest thing so I just tell her, "yes Auntie Debbie is working"...which she is in Washington! Chloe truly enjoys seeing her Gaga & bonding with her. She loves all the books that my Mom gives her...she’ll point out the new books she got & says "Gaga." Every time she sees a luggage she thinks it’s Gaga’s...I have to tell her that Gaga has her own luggage & it’s with her at her house. The one we have here is ours...but of course, she likes to correct me & tells me "No Mommie, Gaga’s" - how can you argue w/ a 2 year old!
June 7 - now
When, both, Debbie & my mom were here, I’ve been having contractions like there’s no tomorrow. They would at first be 2 minutes apart but I refused to go to the hospital so I would lay down for a while & they would finally slow down to 14 to 15 minutes apart after an hour or so. So both Steve & I thought it’s just because I am doing too much. Well after everyone left, it seems like it had gotten worst. I would not only have the contractions, I started getting a lot of pressure in my groin. I also would get cramps from time to time...it got super uncomfortable. I finally told Steve that we need to go to the hospital to just make sure everything is okay. My main concern was Callie - I wanted to make sure that she wasn’t going into distressed or that she wasn’t really coming out. I wasn’t really ready for her to come out this week since we have this big plans coming up. When we got there, they tested me & for sure I had premature contractions, they gave me a shot (Terbutaline Sulfate) to slow it down. I was supposed to get it 3 times every 30 minutes but apparently my heart was beating way too fast with the first shot & didn’t let up after an hour. They checked my cervix & the good news was that it was still closed...so no baby coming out! We were at the hospital for 3 hours & diagnosed me w/ Bladder Infection. They subscribed me a medicine to help out with my bladder infection. My doctors also informed me to go to the lab & take a urine test again along with blood test. I think everyone is fine...just a precaution to make sure baby is truly fine.
Meanwhile both Steve & Chloe are flying solo to Iowa. This is their first flight together w/o me...along w/ Chloe being away from me for more than 1 day! I am very excited for them. They get to spend time together...just Daddie & Chloe. They left on Tuesday (June 9th) and they won’t come back until the 14th of June. Steve is going home to help celebrate Mom Derouin’s 85th Birthday - the whole family are throwing her a surprise party. So it’ll be nice for Chloe to spend some time w/ her Gamma Derouin & see her Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. She’s very much like her Dad...not really into big crowds so this will be a good thing for her to get used to since his Daddie side truly has a big family! I get phone calls from Steve daily informing me that she’s trying to adjust to the big family...she’s very clingy to Steve, of course! She seems to be enjoying her visit...I think she’s enjoying it so much that she’s totally not interested talking on the phone with me. We’ve spoken a couple times - she would tell me about Barney & Thomas & Ele, of course and ends with "okay, bye!" Any other time when Steve would asked her if she would like to talk to me, she would say "no, I don’t want to." So I guess, I am not as special as I thought...Steve reminds me that I am on the same boat as he is...when he’s at work, if I ask her if she would like to talk to him, she would decline. I would have to co-hoarse her to talk to her Dad...unless she specifically asks for him herself then we call Daddie but it has to be on her term...wonder where she got that from???? I am very much looking forward to seeing them again...although I have enjoyed my mini vacation. I just wished I was at the beach enjoying it...oh well, one can’t be too picky...not sure when I’ll get this time again!!!
