My Mom came in on March 30th & stayed w/ us until April 3rd. Chloe missed school for a few days to spend it w/ Gaga. Her visit was full speed ahead. We picked up a couple of necessities for both me & the girls (mostly for Chloe) and basically enjoying her every visit since it's a short one this time around. Since Chloe is turning 3, she's decided that she was going to get her very 1st haircut! So off we went to a kid's hair dresser & took a few inches off her hair! It was a very bitter-sweet moment for both of us. For Chloe, it was because it was something new....and some stranger touching her! For me, it's because her hair was almost closed to her waist. After all that, Gaga allowed her to get a little prized for getting her haircut...so we we're back to being happy again!
On Chloe's birthday, we took her to Disney on Ice. A few of her friends were there to help her celebrate. She truly enjoyed herself...she's not much of a fussy type of girl so we tried to minimize her birthday as much as I could!!! When she woke up on her birthday, Steve & I went upstairs to sing her a birthday wish...needless to say, she really wasn't too thrilled with us singing...not sure if it's because of our lovely voice or it's just too early for her! :) She was quick to ask if we could go & wake up Callie (who by the way, was waiting patiently for us to come to her room...as she screaming out loud to make sure we can hear her). We came downstairs to have a little breakfast & Gaga was there waiting for us. Once again, wasn't into the fussy stuff -so we just went about our day since we knew it was going to be a busy day for us. We got ready & head to downtown Phoenix (US Airways Center) to watch Disney on Ice, 100 Years of Magic. After the show, we went to coach and willies for lunch. We got a private room so that the kiddos could run around & let loose without disturbing the other guests at the restaurant! It's a cute place. Their food was yummy also!
